OnionCoffee can be run as a standalone local proxy. How to start OnionCoffee depends on the operating system environment you are using. The standalone-proxy is encapsulated in a JAR file that can be run from the Unix-command-line with "java -jar Torjava.jar" in graphical environments just by double-clicking the jar-file.

After OnionCoffee has started up the Main Window with the World-Map tab open is shown. This can take some time due to the fact that OnionCoffee has to connect to the TOR network and refresh its local directory file.

For actually using OnionCoffee you have to configure your applications accordingly. The exact steps for configuring your local system differs between browsers and operating systems. We have prepared step-by-step instructions for the most common browsers and systems.
