As someday John returns from his holidays, he has to realise that his house was burgled. Being sure that it couldn’t be his fault, John wants to reconstruct who could have known that he was not at home at this time. Therefore, he contacts a PRIME consultant. After each of John’s retrospections, John and the PRIME consultant gather together the data John has disclosed for third parties in the different situations in order to complete the puzzle, how it was possible for someone external to have knowledge about all facts necessary for a burglary.

The burglary was solved and John had learnt his lesson. Now he deals carefully with his personal data as well as he uses a privacy-enhancing identity management system.
